Senior Building Surveyor | London

We are partnering with a prestigious international, multi-disciplinary consultancy expanding their Building Surveying team in London. They have a reputation for high-quality surveying and real estate services to high-profile UK public sector bodies, offering a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor.

This role appeals to professionals eager to work on diverse, high-impact portfolios within a collaborative environment.

Please note: We are managing this campaign on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will be employed directly by the consultancy.

About the Role:

  • Support regional business development and contribute to national frameworks.
  • Deliver condition data capture and asset management programmes.
  • Undertake professional services including asset and condition surveys, building pathology, measured surveys, fire risk assessments, access audits, dilapidations, insurance valuations, and property care advice.
  • Prepare tender documentation, technical specifications, and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Act as Contract Administrator for minor works, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Communicate findings effectively to clients and teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • MRICS qualified or within 18 months of achieving chartered status.
  • Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
  • Experience in a recognized consultancy environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in IT and AutoCAD.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Eligibility for OS security clearance (highly desirable).
  • Bonus: Progress on RICS External Wall Systems Assessment Training Programme.
