Carrington West is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to lead refurbishment and improvement projects across retail, healthcare, energy, commercial, education and the public sector in the UK.

You will deliver dilapidations, party wall matters, fire safety, and access audits, supervise Assistant and Graduate Building Surveyors, and apply JCT/NEC contracts to ensure quality, safety and environmental standards in project delivery.

Qualifications

• MRICS/Chartered Surveyor status required or close to completion.
• Strong technical expertise in building surveying with substantial experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects, clients and budgets with commercial awareness.

Responsabilités

• Lead refurbishment, modernisation and improvement projects across multiple sectors.
• Carry out feasibility studies, prepare specifications, secure statutory consents, and oversee contract administration.
• Interpret and apply building contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.) within projects.
• Deliver professional surveying services including dilapidations, party wall matters, fire safety assessments and access audits.
• Ensure quality, safety and environmental considerations are embedded in project delivery.
• Mentor and support Assistant and Graduate Building Surveyors, including APC guidance.
