Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to manage a varied portfolio across West & Central London, including high-end residential, local authority projects, and education sector work. You will own projects from instruction to completion, with autonomy to shape the service and grow client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of Building Surveying, strong contract administration, and the ability to work independently within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Extensive Building Surveying experience (10+ years) across varied sectors.
• MRICS status preferred but not essential.
• Proven contract administration and project leadership capabilities.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a busy consultancy.

Responsabilités

• Managing projects from initial instruction through to completion
• Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and maintenance schemes
• Preparing specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation
• Managing contractors, consultants and site progress
• Chairing site meetings and monitoring programme, cost and quality
• Carrying out surveys, preparing reports and providing technical advice
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors and apprentices
• Contributing to business development and growth of the service
• Handling Party Wall matters where required
