Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Southampton team, covering Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. You will lead diverse projects, from condition surveys to dilapidations, with Autocad/Revit and NBS knowledge valued.

The role offers career development and a collaborative environment. You will work within our London & South-East Building Surveying group, supporting client outcomes while delivering high-quality professional services across private and public sectors.

Qualifications

• BSc in building surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
• AutoCAD or Revit and NBS software knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience in higher education, local government or healthcare is beneficial.
• Party Wall and commercial dilapidations experience is advantageous.
• Strong client relationships with private/public sector clients preferred.
• Strong surveying, project management, clerk of works, repairs and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from inception to completion across traditional building surveying duties.
• Maintain clear communication for successful project delivery and financial control.
• Lead client/project teams to deliver surveying services profitably and on time.
• Visit sites to undertake surveys and supervise construction site activities.
• Prepare outputs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Represent the company professionally and mentor junior staff.
