Job summary

EC Property Recruitment Ltd seeks a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to lead contract administration on live schemes and deliver surveys and reports across commercial and high-end residential sectors. You will front clients on site, manage multiple workstreams, and contribute to business growth.

The role offers hybrid working with a Tue/Thu office presence, and a structured bonus/benefits package to reward performance. MRICS with 6-9+ years in consultancy is preferred.

Qualifications

• MRICS required with 6-9+ years in consultancy.
• Strong competency across both project and professional work.
• Client-facing, organised, able to juggle multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Run contract administration on live schemes from instruction to completion.
• Deliver surveys and technical reports across commercial and high-end residential sectors.
• Work on professional instructions: dilaps, defects, party wall, due diligence, RCAs, planned maintenance.
• Front clients on site and in meetings - own the relationship and the outcomes.
• Feed into business development and marketing, not just delivery.
• Help shape how the practice grows.
