Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join the London Dilapidations team within the Projects & Building Consultancy department. You will focus on dilapidations work for landlords and tenants, with exposure to investor clients and international funds.

Working with 23 building surveying professionals, you will manage instructions from inception to completion, coordinating refurbishment projects and due diligence across office and industrial properties in the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification preferred and highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of building surveying matters in local and wider markets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with ability to build client relationships.
• Organised with ability to prioritise tasks and manage time.
• Clean driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and contract building surveying in the London Dilapidations team.
• Manage client relationships and project teams to deliver work profitably.
• Lead from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Prepare Schedule of Dilapidations and negotiate on behalf of landlord or tenant.
• Coordinate technical due diligence reviews and refurbishment projects.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance inspections and reporting.
• Draft standard contract forms and administer contracts.
• Support client care and reporting.
