Qualifications

Job description

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and expanding Building Consultancy team in Shrewsbury. This position will involve working within an established team, focusing on various aspects of project and professional building surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-acquisition building surveys
  • Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations
  • Create schedules of works and project manage
  • Assess rebuild costs for insurance
  • Develop planned maintenance programs and handle party wall awards
  • Manage client relationships and provide fee quotes
  • Coordinate appointments and manage deadlines independently

Essential Criteria:
The ideal candidate should have experience in some (but not necessarily all) of the following areas:

  • Commercial property building surveying
  • Residential surveys (desirable)
  • CDM regulations


Qualifications:
Candidates should ideally be RICS Registered Building Surveyors with relevant post-qualification experience.
