Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
An established, growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join its team in Kent.
Working across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties, the consultancy provides technical advice and professional services to developers, architects, contractors, property owners and private clients. You will work closely with colleagues across engineering disciplines, providing coordinated technical solutions and high-quality professional advice.
Alongside managing your own caseload, you will have the opportunity to contribute to business development, support junior colleagues and help shape the future direction of the surveying team.
You will be an experienced building surveying professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills and a commercially minded approach to client service.
You will ideally have:
Experience with reinstatement cost assessments, the Building Safety Act, higher-risk buildings, cladding remediation or APC supervision would be advantageous. Knowledge of AutoCAD, thermal imaging or drone survey equipment would also be beneficial.
The position is based in Kent, with regular site visits and client meetings across London, Kent and Essex. Hybrid working may be available, subject to project and business requirements.
If you’re a Chartered Building Surveyor looking for a role offering technical variety, greater responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a developing consultancy, we’d welcome a confidential conversation.
