Daniel Owen is proud to represent a well-known social housing company based in North London, seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing reactive repairs, voids, disrepair, and damp and mould projects.

  1. Ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
  2. Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain to maximize leverage and work seamlessly within the business.
  3. Oversee some team members.
  4. Have a firm understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works; a background in disrepair building maintenance surveying is desirable.
  5. Previous experience in the social housing or local authority sector.
  6. Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  7. Take a proactive approach to work.
  8. Proven track record of being reliable and punctual.
  9. Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
Key Knowledge:
  • Social Housing, Building Contractor, and Local Authority industry knowledge.
  • IT and Excel literate.
  • HNC or equivalent surveying qualification required.
