This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive firm with a strong presence in the education and healthcare sectors, delivering high-quality surveying and project management services across the North West.

This business is known for its collaborative culture and low staff turnover - offering the chance to shape your role and career around interesting, meaningful work.

The Role:

You'll play a key part in delivering a wide range of building surveying services, leading projects from feasibility to handover. You'll also support junior colleagues and work closely with clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes across education and healthcare environments.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement projects
  2. Conduct condition surveys, dilapidations, and feasibility studies
  3. Prepare detailed specifications and manage tender processes
  4. Administer contracts (primarily JCT and NEC forms)
  5. Deliver technical reports and professional advice to clients
  6. Engage directly with schools, academies, NHS Trusts, and local authorities
  7. Contribute to business development and client relationship management

What We're Looking For:
  1. MRICS qualified (or nearing qualification)
  2. Demonstrable experience in building surveying, ideally within education and/or healthcare
  3. Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
  4. Strong technical knowledge and report-writing abilities
  5. A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach

What's On Offer:
  1. Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
  2. Increased annual leave and attractive pension
  3. Professional membership fees paid
  4. Discretionary bonus scheme
  5. Supportive team culture with clear development opportunities

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to join a consultancy that genuinely values its people and the impact they make. You'll work on projects that matter - helping improve education and healthcare facilities across the region - while enjoying the autonomy and support you need to grow your career.
