Role Purpose

This opportunity is for an RICS-qualified surveyor to join our Building Consultancy team. The role involves a wide range of professional building consultancy work for various investor and corporate clients across the UK and EMEA, including single assets and large portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and assist in delivering professional building consultancy advice, including contract administration and dilapidations.
2. Manage client and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
3. Collaborate with other CBRE departments to develop business opportunities.
4. Prepare schedules of dilapidations, negotiate claims, and advise on refurbishment works and maintenance.
5. Conduct building surveys, defect analysis, and provide commercial advice.
6. Identify opportunities to add value and exceed client expectations.
7. Contribute to team and business objectives, supporting business development activities.
8. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
9. Ensure compliance with CBRE policies and quality management systems.

Person Specification/Requirements

1. MRICS qualification, preferably in Building Surveying, with 1-2 years relevant experience.
2. Ability to independently manage projects in lead and contract administrator roles.
3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and team support skills.
4. Professional demeanor with business acumen.
5. Knowledge of the property market and CBRE’s services.
6. Ability to plan, prioritize, delegate, and manage workload effectively.
7. Attention to detail and confident communication skills.
8. Willingness to travel within the UK and EMEA; valid driving license required.
