This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to take the next step in their career with a leading consultancy that's entering a new phase of ambitious growth and development as well as focusing on retaining their high reputation.

This consultancy specialises in dilapidations and refurbishments, making up most of their workload, alongside some quantity surveying services. With a strong project portfolio ranging from large national retail clients to smaller private works, no two days are the same. As part of a five-year strategic expansion plan after recently opening an office in Leeds, they're now seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to grow the team and play a key role in its success.

In this role you'll be stepping into a client-facing role with responsibility from the beginning, working on a range of projects covering both dilapidations and refurbishments. You will be conducting surveys out on sites and then writing them up in the office with the potential to have hybrid work down the line. This is a role where no two days will be the same due to the exciting variation of projects they take on.

The Role:

1. Leading and delivering projects focused on dilapidations and refurbishments
2. Conduct surveys, and produce high-quality reports
3. Conduct client meetings and build relationships
4. A mixture of office-based, remote, and on-site work throughout Leeds and the surrounding area
5. Directly input into the company's ambitious growth plans through high-standard work

The Person:

1. Degree-qualified in Building Surveying and MRICS Chartership
2. Proven experience running projects independently
3. Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in dilapidations and refurbishments
4. Comfortable working with both occupied and unoccupied buildings
5. Based in or around Leeds
6. Full UK drivers licence
