Senior Building Surveyor| Essex | £55,000 - £75,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Senior Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? People Group has collaborated with a leading property and construction consultancy based in Essex. We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Building Surveyor to join the team. The consultancy boasts over 20 Partners and has been operating for over 60 years with 5 offices across the UK delivering a range of services across the built environment. They have delivered recent projects including Wembley Park, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the British Museum.

The role involves providing a range of building surveying services across professional and project disciplines. Work is based in Essex and surrounding home counties, with programme values ranging from £100k to £2million.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a wide variety of building surveying work, including both professional and contract/project-related duties, such as:

  • Defect analysis and report writing
  • Dilapidations and party wall matters
  • Building and due diligence surveys
  • Planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Contract administration and Employers Agent roles
  • Specification writing for refurbishment and maintenance projects
  • Site supervision and monitoring works for quality and progress
