Senior Building Receptionist

Our client, a prestigious organisation, is seeking a Senior Building Receptionist to be the welcoming face of their amazing office environment. Position: Senior Building Receptionist
Salary: £28,000
Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week)
Location: No parking available at the site due to the city centre location


What You'll Do:


  1. Assist the Building Manager in coordinating contract meetings and assessing supplier performance through KPIs.
  2. Establish a foundation for first-class customer service for all building guests and occupiers.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external partners to exceed client expectations.
  4. Provide effective administrative support, managing front-of-house activities and tenant relations.
  5. Handle inquiries from staff and visitors via multiple communication channels, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
  6. Conduct quality checks of common areas and liaise with cleaning teams to uphold high standards.
  7. Manage invoicing and monitor ongoing expenditure, keeping the Management Team informed of significant variances.
  8. Promote occupier engagement through meetings, forums, and networking events.
  9. Perform daily safety tours and periodic property inspections, ensuring all issues are promptly addressed.
  10. Maintain accurate property information, ensuring it is readily available to the Facilities Management team.

What You Bring:


  1. Experience: Ideally 2+ years in a self-managed Receptionist/Front of House or customer service role.
  2. Skills: Excellent IT literacy (Microsoft Office and Outlook), strong communication, and organisational skills.
  3. Personality: Enthusiastic, accountable, and confident with a professional outlook. Tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality are key.
  4. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  5. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various duties and assist colleagues during absences.
