Job summary

Mountjoy Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Fabric Supervisor to lead repairs, void works and minor projects under the Horsham contract. The role requires inspecting properties, scoping work, and coordinating with specialist teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The candidate will provide technical guidance to the client, manage multiple streams, and ensure safety, quality and compliance with Mountjoy procedures. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• A recognised building fabric, construction or relevant trade qualification (essential).
• SSSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification (desirable).
• PASMA and Scaffold Inspector training, or a willingness to complete the required training.
• A valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and survey properties, especially voids, to identify defects and required repairs.
• Prepare clear scopes of work with measurements, photos, specs, access, materials and sequencing.
• Manage void works from inspection to handover within agreed time, budget and quality.
• Plan and manage building fabric projects and minor works with quotations, operatives and subcontractors.
• Provide practical technical advice on defects, repair options, risks and costs to the client.
• Identify interfaces with hard FM services and arrange specialist input as needed.
• Supervise operatives and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Maintain accurate site records in FES including progress, variations and completed work.
• Carry out quality inspections, snagging and ensure rectification before handover.
• Ensure work complies with risk assessments, method statements and Mountjoy procedures.
