Job summary

Mountjoy Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Fabric Supervisor to lead repairs, void inspections and minor projects for the Horsham contract. You will scope work, plan programmes, and coordinate specialist support while ensuring safety, quality and budget adherence.

The role requires a recognised trade qualification, DBS check, and the ability to manage multiple streams, communicate clearly with the client, and supervise operatives and subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• Recognised building fabric, construction or relevant trade qualification.
• SSSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification desirable.
• PASMA/Scaffold Inspector training or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and survey properties, including voids, to identify defects and repairs.
• Prepare clear scopes of work with measurements, photos and specs.
• Plan and manage void works from inspection to handover within scope, time and budget.
• Coordinate building fabric projects with subcontractors, materials and programme requirements.
• Provide client with practical technical advice on defects, options, risks and costs.
• Identify interfaces with electrical, mechanical, heating, water and fire-safety systems and arrange specialist input.
• Supervise operatives and subcontractors to meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate site records in FES and other client systems.
• Carry out quality inspections, snagging and ensure issues are rectified before handover.
• Ensure work is safe and compliant with risk assessments, method statements and Mountjoy procedures.
• Identify asbestos, structural, fire-safety risks and escalate as required.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota as escalation point.
