Qualifications

Stark Tech is actively looking for a Senior Building Controls Technician.

Responsibilities

You should be able to conduct semi-complex maintenance tests, and analyze existing BAS systems. Advise Project Managers, technicians, and external providers on issue resolutions. Interpret mechanical drawings. Configure, calibrate, and test sensors, actuators, and field devices. Load, test, and confirm communication among BAS controllers. Perform system check-out, commissioning, and document results. Assist lead technician during owner training. Cultivate strong customer relationships to enhance business prospects.

Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
  • Five (5) year experience with Building Automation Systems and Protocols
  • Basic Ethernet networking including setting up of IP addresses and network communication
  • MS Office Suite experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of Building Automation Control systems with troubleshooting experience
  • Basic low voltage electrical testing skills
  • Must be authorized to work in US
  • Ability to travel extensively with a valid Driver's License
Additional skills (not required)
  • Associated degree or 3 years of Vocational Technical Training
  • Experience with LON, BACnet, ModBus, and Metasys
