Introduction

Responsible for the administration support function of the North America Open Market broking team.

Responsibilities
  1. Completing checklists on all bound risks
  2. Compiling and sending submissions to the market
  3. Aiding the broking team with organising client events
  4. Preparing client meeting itineraries and presentation documents
  5. Aid and assist the broking team as a link to the marketing division
  6. Uploading firm order slips to PPL and seeing through to signing and close
  7. Preparation of Final Terms/Binding documents for Clients
  8. Working closely with Processing and Accounts teams to monitor premium payments and assist in chasing for outstanding funds where required
  9. Requests and oversees follow-up for changes from underwriters and reviews coverage specifications to be submitted to carriers/underwriters to ensure they are accurate
  10. Maintains market contact at appropriate levels needed to execute assigned tasks effectively and assist the Placement colleague
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
  1. Strong administrative and time management skills
  2. Strong organisational skills
  3. London Market Insurance knowledge preferred
  4. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  5. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with others, both internal and external — strong interpersonal skills
  7. Understanding and affinity for relationship building
