Job description

Blueprint Recruitment would like to speak with you regarding a new and exciting Senior Bridge Engineer role with a top client of ours! They are seeking an individual with extensive experience and knowledge to join their team in a contract position. The successful candidate will work fully remote, however must be able to attend the clients office once a month.

Our client is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property development company, operating across various sectors, including construction, highways, healthcare, and environmental services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and oversee bridge design, assessment, and maintenance solutions within budget and on time.
2. Design solutions according to national standards and client requirements.
3. Produce or oversee scheme documents and reports.
4. Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and site-specific audits, as well as health and safety regulations including CDM.
5. Report progress to clients and update line managers on programme status.

Key Requirements:

1. Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE, MIStructE or equivalent).
2. Strong experience of bridge design standards and analysis.
3. Prior experience in a similar role within highways.
4. Extensive experience of design manual for Roads and Bridges preferred but not essential.
5. Knowledge of Lusas systems.
6. Hold a CSCS Black card.
7. Experience leading, managing, and delivering projects to requirements and budget.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
