Job summary

BEAR Scotland is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for roles in Bonnyrigg, South Queensferry or Stepps. The position is hybrid (office and remote) with a Monday-Friday pattern and involves leading bridge schemes across Scotland’s trunk road network on a multi-site basis.

You will own project budgets, drive design, supervise contractors, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring CDM compliance and environmental/technical standards are met. Driving licence required.

BEAR Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland manage over 750 structures as part of the South East trunk road network which includes a number of complex bridges.

Join our South East Bridges Team as a Senior Bridge Engineer in either our Bonnyrigg, South Queensferry or Stepps Office. We're looking for self-driven team players who are eager to support a broad and varied programme of work. To succeed, you'll bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a valid driving licence.
