BEAR Scotland is recruiting a Bridge Engineer for the South East Bridges Team in Bonnyrigg, with hybrid (office and remote) working arrangements. The role supports a broad programme of bridge engineering work from inspections through to scheme design and delivery.
Based in Bonnyrigg, South Queensferry, or Stepps, you will contribute to maintenance schemes, prepare cost estimates, manage design records, and coordinate site activities while adhering to safety requirements and project timelines.
Location: Bonnrigg, South Queensferry or Stepps (South-East Region)
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday
Working Style: Hybrid (office and remote)

This diverse portfolio includes major and complex bridge assets such as long-span structures, post-tensioned concrete bridges, steel composite bridges, and critical crossings on key strategic routes, as well as culverts, retaining walls, and footbridges.
