Job summary

Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a senior, autonomous breast clinician to assess, investigate and manage patients across defined breast pathways. The post works alongside Consultant Breast Surgeons, Breast Radiologists, Oncologists, Breast Care Nurses and the wider MDT.

While badgeed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, the role is an advanced clinical practice post with direct responsibility for clinical assessment, diagnostics, decision-making, treatment and follow-up from appointment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in breast clinical practice with advanced assessment and autonomous decision-making.
• Ability to assess, investigate, and manage patients across diagnostic, treatment and follow-up pathways.
• Experience working in an NHS trust with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, investigate and manage patients across defined breast diagnostic and treatment pathways.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions and oversee follow-up within agreed governance.
• Collaborate with Consultant Breast Surgeons, Radiologists, Oncologists and Breast Care Nurses.
