An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breast Care Nursing Team at Breast Test Wales, part of the Screening Division of Public Health Wales. We are seeking a part-time Senior Breast Care Nurse to join our North Wales team, supporting services across our centres in Wrexham and Llandudno.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Breast Care Nurse, You Will:
Provide direct care and support to individuals recalled for assessment following routine screening mammograms.
Offer psychological support, evidence-based information, and guidance to individuals diagnosed with breast cancer or breast disease, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.
Lead and support a small team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and service improvement.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and implement best practices in breast care nursing.
Participate in clinical audit activities to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care, ensuring services meet high standards and support ongoing improvement.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
