Role Purpose:

Key Activities:

As Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be the strategic lead for Activia in the UK & Ireland, responsible for:

  • Deliver profit and loss and United Kingdom and Ireland marketing performance of Activia to strengthen the top share position and accelerate growth.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the annual marketing plan and business targets.
  • Pilot brand performance throughout the year, working with the cross-functional team to course correct as needed.
  • Manage the portfolio and allocate brand resources efficiently and effectively.

Brand Building:

  • Shape Activia's brand strategy, driving the north star and brand purpose.
  • Act as the United Kingdom and Ireland lead for Activia with the global and European team, influencing and deploying strategy and execution as needed.

Communications and Creative Leadership:

  • Deliver and support communication strategy, working closely with the global team on influencing and deploying the new creative platform, and developing locally to land best-in-class communications through the funnel.
  • Manage the integrated brand communications and integrated campaign planning process for campaigns, annual operating plans, and annual planning.
  • Brief and deliver impactful brand campaigns and activations, working closely with the integrated brand communications team to deliver effective and efficient creative and media. Work with the Ireland brand manager to drive relevant execution.
  • Drive brand visual identity and design brand assets locally as per the global brand vision.

Innovation Strategy and Delivery:

  • Develop a three-year innovation pipeline strategy: fewer, bigger, better, and influence and align with global roadmaps.
  • Lead brand innovation projects and launches, focusing on marketing craft rather than project management.

Role Model People Development and High Feedback Culture:

  • Prioritize with the manager to ensure business delivery and development opportunities.
  • Support planning and execution of activities to desired outcomes and inspire behind the why.

  • P&L Management and Market Performance: Demonstrated ability to deliver P&L and market performance, ensuring the brand strengthens its No. 1 share position and accelerates growth.
  • Brand Strategy and Innovation: Expertise in shaping and driving brand strategy, including setting the strategic north star aligned with the global brand vision, innovation strategy, and developing a 3-year innovation pipeline.
  • Creative and Communication Leadership: Expertise in communications and creative efforts, managing big budgets, and developing award-winning work and impactful brand campaigns/activations.
  • Stakeholder Management and Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong skills in managing a broad stakeholder network, integrating perspectives from various teams, and acting as a trusted partner for functional discussions.
  • People Development: Ability to lead through others with courage and in ambiguity, role model people development, and foster a high feedback culture while ensuring business delivery and development opportunities.
