We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Brand Lead to take full ownership of UK & Ireland marketing initiatives for one of Sobi’s most important brands — established in haematology, and on the cusp of a high-profile expansion into nephrology. You will lead cross-functional teams, steer national strategy, and collaborate closely with global colleagues to bring life-changing treatments to patients.

This is a pivotal opportunity to drive the success of a brand at the intersection of strong legacy and future growth — while representing the voice of the UK affiliate on the global stage. Occasional travel, including overnight stays and weekend work, may be required for congresses, training events, and cross-market coordination.

The position is a hybrid role, with an expectation of being at the office 1 day per week as a minimum in Granta Park, Cambridge, reporting to the Business Unit Director – Haematology and Nephrology.

Your impact will include

  • Own and execute the UK & Ireland marketing strategy across two therapeutic areas
  • Lead the development and roll-out of brand plans, adapting global strategy for local needs
  • Drive omnichannel marketing initiatives with strong digital execution and metrics
  • Engage and build relationships with KOLs, patient organisations, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Act as Patient Support Programme Lead for both established and future initiatives
  • Coordinate with market access and medical teams to support HTA submissions and training
  • Monitor brand performance, optimise budget, and contribute local insight to global strategy

About you

You bring strong commercial acumen and strategic vision, balanced by a hands-on approach to execution. You’re comfortable leading cross-functional teams, shaping conversations with senior stakeholders, and representing the UK affiliate within global projects. Agile, analytical, and collaborative, you thrive in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment and are ready to make a real impact in rare disease.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ brand/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in Nephrology is highly desirable
  • Degree in a relevant field – scientific, medical, or business preferred
  • Haematology or nephrology experience (in marketing or sales) strongly preferred
  • Proven success with both established brands and product launches
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment (local and global)
  • Strong knowledge of omnichannel and digital platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce, Qlik)
  • Deep understanding of the NHS and funding/reimbursement processes in the UK & Ireland

Here at Sobi, we live by our core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership, and Partnership!
