Job description
Overview

Position: Senior Brand Manager

Location: Southwark, London, Hybrid

This is a standout opportunity to take the lead on one of the fastest-growing and most loved plant-based brands in the UK and Ireland — Violife. As Senior Brand Manager, you’ll have full P&L ownership and be empowered to drive strategy across the full marketing mix (6Ps) — from brand storytelling and innovation to shopper activation and commercial alignment.

Violife is a range of award-winning plant-based foods made from coconut oil — 100% plant-based and 100% delicious. Free from dairy, preservatives, casein, lactose, gluten, nuts and soya, Violife brings people together through food that everyone can enjoy. Rooted in the Greek word “Vios”, meaning “life”, Violife is about living life to the full — and helping others do the same.

Reporting & Environment

You’ll report directly to the UK & Ireland Head of Marketing and work closely with local and central functions across Sales, RGM, Category, Innovation and R&D. This is a career-defining role in a high-energy, high-accountability environment — perfect for someone who thrives on ownership and delivering results.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and lead the UKI strategy and positioning for Violife, aligning with regional and global direction.
  • Develop and deploy consumer-first growth plans across the 6Ps, based on insight and market trends.
  • Build joint business plans and selling stories for grocery retailers including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.
Performance, Budget & Activation
  • Deliver a robust A&P investment strategy, covering media, digital, shopper marketing and loyalty activations.
  • Set and track clear KPIs for brand performance, with proactive actions to optimise results.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and establish scorecards that bring visibility and focus across functions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Foster strong working relationships across Category, RGM, Sales, Innovation and R&D teams.
  • Ensure seamless alignment across brand and customer initiatives to drive joint value creation.
What Does It Take to Be Successful?

We’re looking for a results-driven, insight-led brand leader with a passion for building purposeful, consumer-loved brands. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and be excited by the opportunity to make a real impact on a category with unstoppable momentum.

  • Strategic & Hands-On: Balance big-picture thinking with the ability to roll up your sleeves and execute projects brilliantly.
  • Commercial Mindset: Experience working closely with Sales, Category and RGM functions — and ideally UK grocery customers.
  • Data-Driven: Make decisions based on insight, KPIs and real-time performance metrics.
  • Collaborative Leader: Build trusted relationships across internal and external teams and get the best from agency partners.
  • Growth Mentality: Curious, agile and focused on delivering progress — every single day.
What’s Next?

If you’re an ambitious, insight-led marketer ready to lead Violife, one of the UK’s most exciting and purposeful plant-based brands, this is your chance to drive real impact. Big ambitions, big purpose — and a big opportunity to shape the future of food.
