Job summary

Mphasis seeks an experienced Senior Bordereaux Processing Technician to join our London Market operations team. The role focuses on processing and validating premium, risk and claims bordereaux across binders, facilities, line slips and MGA arrangements.

As a senior team member, you will coach juniors, review quality, and work with Underwriters, Brokers, Cover holders and MGAs to ensure timely and accurate bordereaux services and ongoing improvements in processes and automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Commercial Insurance.
• 3+ years in Bordereaux Processing, DA/Facilities Operations.
• Lloyd's and London Market experience.
• Professional insurance qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII or equivalent).
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, GDPR and IDD.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate premium, risk and claims bordereaux across Delegated Authority / Facilities business.
• Handle complex binder, facility and line slip arrangements, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Act as a technical referral point for junior team members and provide guidance on complex queries.
• Perform quality control reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve bordereaux discrepancies, data quality issues and reporting exceptions.
• Ensure delivery against agreed service levels, KPIs and operational controls.
• Build effective relationships with Underwriters, Brokers, Cover holders, MGAs and internal stakeholders.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, process enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to onboarding activities for new Delegated Authority / Facilities business.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bordereaux Processing Technician to join our growing London Market operations team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in Delegated Authority / Facilities business, including the processing and validation of premium, risk and claims bordereaux across binders, facilities, line slips and MGA arrangements.

As a senior member of the team, you will act as a technical subject matter expert, support junior colleagues through quality reviews and coaching, and work closely with Underwriters, Brokers, Cover holders and MGAs to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of bordereaux processing services.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years' experience within the Commercial Insurance industry.
• 3+ years' experience in Bordereaux Processing, Delegated Authority / Facilities Operations or a related London Market function.
• Strong understanding of Delegated Authority / Facilities business, including Binding Authorities, Facilities, Line Slips and MGA arrangements.
• Experience processing premium, risk and claims bordereaux.
• Good knowledge of London Market Specialty Insurance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Lloyd's and London Market experience.
• Professional insurance qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII or equivalent).
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, GDPR and IDD.
• Experience with bordereaux management systems and automated processing tools.
• Exposure to operational improvement, transformation or automation projects.
