Job summary

D R Newitt Recruitment in Perth is seeking an experienced, fully qualified Bookkeeper to join a growing business. This is a varied, hands-on role offering ownership of day-to-day financial operations and the opportunity to grow responsibilities as the company expands.

You will manage purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, VAT, month-end reporting, budgeting, and payroll, with Xero as the primary tool.

Qualifications

• AAT, IAB, ICB or equivalent bookkeeping qualification.
• Essential: Experience using Xero.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase and sales ledgers, invoices and credit control.
• Complete bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process supplier payments and administer invoice financing.
• Prepare month-end accounts, financial reports and VAT figures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and payroll administration.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
