Bondsmith is seeking a dependable Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, keep ledgers in order, and oversee accounts payable/receivable with FCA requirements. The role is 50% of full-time hours, reporting to the CFO and Finance Manager, with a hybrid UK work setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in bookkeeping within SME fintech, strong Xero experience, and solid Excel skills. AAT qualification is preferred and Jersey knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or similar finance role, preferably in SME Fintech.
• Exposure to FCA-regulated or client-money environments is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial data., including AI tools is a plus.
• UK statutory knowledge and Jersey entities experience is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Maintain Xero ledgers with accruals and prepayments for FCA-regulated business.
• Perform bank reconciliations across group entities with high transaction volume.
• Manage accounts receivable, raise invoices and monitor receipts; assist revenue accruals.
• Process company card transactions and employee expense claims; reconcile.
• Support accounts payable and end-to-end payment runs; ensure timely payments.
• Assist with client money reconciliations and audit trails for FCA compliance.
• Contribute to month-end close and internal reporting; support ongoing statutory filings.
