Qualifications

• Proven experience from an accountancy firm in bookkeeping is essential.
• Experience across multiple client groups is advantageous.
• Strong eye for detail and comfortable with client interaction.
• Flexible for full-time or part-time hours and hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Balance sheet reconciliations including bank, VAT, credit card, receivables, payables, payroll, CIS, intercompany, loans and other items.
• Processing of bills and expenses.
• Supplier payments and credit control.
• VAT preparation.
• Facilitating software integrations.
• Support Year End Accounts preparation.
• Daily client communications and handling client requests.
• Reviewing work for the team and managing a portfolio of clients.
• Developing and training junior staff.
