About our client

Our client is a WA-owned and operated paper supply company with over 52 years of experience. Based in Welshpool, the company specialises in the supply of copy paper, packaging, cleaning products, and office consumables to businesses across Australia. With an eCommerce presence and a warehouse and delivery network, the business ensures efficient order processing and prompt fulfilment. Our client is committed to providing fast and reliable delivery, high stock availability, and personal customer service.

About the opportunity

This role can be done part time or full time and is suited for an experienced bookkeeper with strong administrative skills. You will support the director with diary management and provide accounting and operational assistance across the business.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and complete bank reconciliations
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, and PAYG statements
  • Manage supplier accounts and process invoices
  • Support contract and subscription management
  • Assist with general office administration

You will undertake tasks that ensure the business operates efficiently, including creditor management, reconciling asset registers, and liaising with external accountants. Over time, you will become a key support to the director and help optimise administrative workflows.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Significant experience in senior bookkeeping
  • Experience managing accounts payable and preparing financial reports
  • Strong organisational and diary management skills
  • Understanding of BAS, IAS, PAYG, profit and loss, and reconciliations
  • Familiarity with general admin, supplier contracts, and office consumables
