Job summary

This NHS post offers a role within Healthcare Science, focusing on Bone Densitometry and Nuclear Medicine. Qualifications

• Essential Level 4 qualification in Medical Imaging, Healthcare Science (Nuclear Medicine) or Radiology with experience in bone density and/or nuclear medicine.
• Knowledge, skill and experience to respond calmly and professionally in patient problems, including basic CPR.
• Basic knowledge of IT software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Performs a range of Bone Density, Nuclear Medicine and ancillary procedures; supervision is available for reference.
• Assist staff of Nuclear Medicine section in Quality Control, laboratory and radiopharmacy processes.
• Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
