Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a BMS Static Engineer for a major single-site in Mile End, East London. The role focuses on owning and optimising the BMS with Trend controls on a large static site, with no travel between multiple locations.

You will maintain, monitor and optimise the BMS, perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and support energy-efficient system operation on a prestigious building environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with BMS engineering and maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across BMS controls.
• Experience with HVAC systems and building services controls.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and optimise the BMS across a large static site in Mile End, East London.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and routine BMS inspections.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot control issues and resolve problems across BMS controllers, sensors, actuators and field devices.
• Work with Trend BMS systems, including identifying system faults and supporting controls optimisation.
• Monitor HVAC plant and associated building services to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Adjust control strategies, setpoints and operating schedules to improve system performance.
• Support the engineering team with investigations into recurring faults and performance issues.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports and system documentation.
• Liaise with on-site facilities, maintenance and subcontractor teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
