The Senior Biomedical Scientist / Clinical Andrologist shares responsibility for the operation of the Andrology laboratory and supervises biomedical scientists, clinical scientists, associate practitioners, and biomedical support workers. The post-holder ensures the timely processing of workload, manages stock control and assets, and deputizes for the Chief Biomedical Scientist. The Quality Manager develops and applies a quality management system within the Laboratory, in accordance with ISO 15189, and deputizes for the Reproductive Science Quality Manager (ISO 17043). The role involves applying scientific knowledge and providing high-quality diagnostic services directly impacting patient care.
