Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced, state registered Biomedical Scientist specializing in clinical biochemistry to perform a comprehensive range of routine and advanced analyses across the Trust’s laboratories. You will interpret results, advise clinical teams and maintain highly complex analytical equipment in optimum condition.

The role requires full rotation across LCL Chemistry Laboratory sites and active participation in a 24/7 shift rota.

Qualifications

• Must be state registered Biomedical Scientist with HPC registration.
• Demonstrable post-registration practical experience in clinical biochemistry.
• Commitment to CPD and staying up to date with laboratory practice.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across all LCL Chemistry Laboratory sites.
• Perform routine and specialist biochemical analyses with accuracy.
• Interpret results and provide specialist guidance to clinical teams.
