Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a BIM Lead/Senior BIM Technician to lead BIM standards, workflows and quality across diverse UK projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, support Revit modelling and clash detection, and ensure information is delivered to a high standard.

Ideal candidates will have strong BIM expertise, UK standards knowledge, and proven leadership with hands-on project delivery. This role is based in Pool, Cornwall with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior BIM Lead or Senior BIM Technician with strong BIM expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM standards.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop BIM standards, workflows, and best practice across projects.
• Manage BIM coordination and model quality throughout project delivery.
• Support project teams with Revit modelling, clash detection and information management.
• Produce and review technical drawing packages to a high standard.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants and clients to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Mentor and support junior BIM and technical staff.
• Drive continuous improvement in digital design processes and BIM implementation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with UK standards.
