Job summary

ReWork Recruitment Group Ltd is partnering with an established interiors contractor in London to hire an experienced Senior BIM Designer. You will lead 3D design delivery using Autodesk Revit, align with BIM Execution Plans, and manage clash detection and builderswork modelling.

Job description

We are working with an established specialist interiors contractor delivering some seriously impressive projects across London and the South East, looking for an experienced Senior BIM Designer to help take its design capability to the next level.

You will be hands-on, taking responsibility for 3D design delivery using Autodesk Revit, working to client BIM Execution Plans and managing clash detection and builderswork modelling.

But the interesting bit is what sits around the day job.

The business already has an established design team and wants somebody who can help develop its internal BIM processes, improve how 3D is used across the business and train and mentor the existing team.

So, we're looking for more than somebody who's brilliant with Revit.

You will need strong technical design experience, a proper understanding of BIM delivery within construction and the confidence to influence how an established contractor does things.

Ideally you will have experience within interiors, drylining, ceilings, joinery, fit-out or another specialist construction environment, although we're happy to look beyond the obvious background for somebody technically strong enough.

The role can be based in the Hertfordshire / Essex or London area, and we're anticipating a salary of around £50,000 – £65,000 depending on your experience.
