Job summary

Satellite Applications Catapult is seeking a Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bids across complex opportunities, partnering with technical experts and business development leads to craft compelling value propositions.

You will manage capture, risk and governance, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and steer bids from qualification through to contract award, in a fast-paced, collaborative, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and delivering successful bids using recognised industry best practice.
• Strong understanding of the full bid lifecycle from qualification to delivery.
• Commercial awareness with risk management and governance experience.
• Desirable APMP Foundation or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Manage virtual and in-person bid teams and inputs from stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end bid management from capture through to contract sign.
• Develop and manage the bid programme including planning and resourcing.
• Monitor progress against plan and address issues with stakeholders.
• Track risks and manage bid budgets and funder formats.
• Coordinate bid reviews and ensure quality, schedule and budget compliance.
• Capture and disseminate lessons learned to improve future bids.
• Stakeholder engagement with clients, SMEs, funding bodies and partners.
