Following a successful series of high-profile contract wins and the development of a strong future pipeline, we are inviting applications from talented and experienced Business Development, Bid Management and Bid Writing professionals to lead and oversee our bid and tender production team and join our senior team in the role of Senior Bid Business Development Manager on a permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week basis.
Overview of the role
This role will oversee the editorial standards, written bid production processes and coaching of staff to ensure market leading bid quality scores. The role will also manage the Group's consultancy budget for consultant bid writers. By working with key stakeholders, the Bid Director and the Group Business Development Director, you will gain a strong understanding of customer requirements, to ensure the internal multi-functional bid team has a clear sense of direction in line with commissioner objectives. We work across multiple markets (e.g. Education, Justice, Skills, Employment) so this role requires an individual who is experienced in overseeing top scoring bids and tenders to multiple central and local government commissioners.
