Job summary

A leading global betting and gaming company is seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer to create visualisations and reports within Power BI for various business functions. The role encompasses enabling self-service reporting capabilities and contributing to the rebuilding of reporting suites. Candidates should have advanced experience with Power BI and SQL, ideally in a financial services background. This position is partially hybrid, requiring in-office attendance two days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with Power BI Desk and Power BI Service.
• 3+ years of experience in data modelling and best practices.
• Experience with SQL query writing and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create visualisations and reports within Power BI for various business functions.

Senior BI Developer - Perm £45k - Evolving Gaming Hub

A global betting and gaming company embarking on a new journey to pioneer innovative products is seeking a Senior PowerBI Developer to support their transformation projects within Power BI.

In this role, you will support colleagues by creating visualisations and reports within Power BI for various business functions. You will enable and enhance the company's self-service reporting capabilities, empowering users to access and utilise data independently based on their requirements.

Additionally, you will contribute to the transformation project aimed at rebuilding the Power BI reporting suites to further improve self-service capabilities.

Location/Hybrid: X2 per week to Birchwood Office (Monday & Wednesday)

Requirements:

• Advanced experience with Power BI Desk and Power BI Service (Minimum 3years)
• Strong knowledge and experience with data modelling and adhering to best practices (3years +)
• Extensive experience with SQL Service Management studio i.e. Query writing and optimisation
• Advanced knowledge of DAX
• Desirable background in financial services (insurance, banking, trading) or exposure to complicated data
• Desirable experience with Python and AWS
