Job description

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior BI Analyst with deep expertise in QlikView and Qlik Sense to lead data strategy, integration, and storytelling across the organization. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to unify data sources, build impactful dashboards, and drive decisions with clarity and confidence.
What you will do:
  • Build and maintain dashboards in QlikView and Qlik Sense.

  • Act as the internal SME (Subject Matter Expert) for BI tools, systems, and architecture.

  • Champion BI best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and usability of solutions.

  • Unify data from Salesforce, SAP B1, and web sources into one version of the truth.

  • Use strong SQL/MySQL to query, join, and manipulate large datasets.

  • Leverage Excel (including VBA) for advanced modeling and reporting.

  • Translate data into compelling narratives and strategic business insights.

  • Support quarterly data reviews, insight planning, and story-building.

  • Identify, challenge, and improve on briefs to find better insights than requested.

  • Ensure BI practices comply with GDPR, ISO27001, and FOI regulations.

  • Optionally serve as Data Protection Officer (DPO) if qualified.

  • Provide capacity planning advice (e.g., when to bring in junior/contractor support).

  • Mentor junior team members and foster a strong data culture across the business.

What you need to have:
  • 5+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Qlik certifications and data protection qualifications are advantageous.

  • Fluency in QlikView and Qlik Sense – advanced dashboarding, scripting, and optimization.

  • Expert in SQL/MySQL and Excel (including VBA).

  • Proven experience pulling data from Salesforce, SAP B1, and external web APIs.

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and delivering clean, actionable outputs.

  • Familiarity with GDPR, data protection, and information security standards.

  • Additional experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
