Job summary

A leading energy consultancy is seeking a Senior BESS Integration & Plant Control Engineer to support the integration of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System with an offshore wind farm. This role requires strong engineering expertise in BESS and HVDC systems, technical leadership, and the ability to produce integrated documentation. The successful candidate will work primarily remotely with travel to Norwich and London, and must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Qualifications

• Strong experience in integrating BESS into power projects.
• Experience with control interfaces for BESS and other plant systems.
• Good knowledge of UK grid code compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of BESS and HVDC control interfaces.
• Define and manage integration interfaces between BESS and other systems.
• Lead trading, revenue optimisation, and operational interface definitions.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary interfaces.
