Job summary

Skylon Joinery is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to manufacture high-quality timber windows, doors and joinery products at our EN9 workshop. You will read drawings, set up fixed woodworking machines and perform bench joinery, machining and assembly with attention to detail.

Applicants should have 5+ years of bench joinery experience, be able to read drawings, and operate spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers and saws. Own transport to EN9 2BF is required and UK work rights apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' bench joinery experience.
• Proficient reading of technical drawings.
• Experience with spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers and saws.
• Own transport to EN9 2BF.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke timber windows and doors.
• Read technical and manufacturing drawings.
• Set up and operate fixed woodworking machinery.
• Bench joinery, machining and assembly.
• Check dimensions and quality throughout production.
• Collaborate with CNC and production teams.
• Keep the workshop safe and organised.
