Job summary

The Talent Branch Ltd. in Hertfordshire is seeking two experienced Bench Joiners or Cabinet Makers for a workshop-based role in commercial fit-out joinery. You will work from drawings and cutting lists, producing high-quality joinery in a focused workshop environment.

Ideal candidates will have 8–10 years of bench joinery experience, City and Guilds in Joinery or Wood Machining, and strong English communication. Immediate start offered; full-time, permanent hours with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker or Joiner in commercial fit-out or high-end joinery.
• Proven ability to read construction drawings and cutting lists accurately.
• Good English communication, organised, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bespoke joinery and cabinetry components in the workshop for commercial fit-out projects.
• Work from construction issue drawings and cutting lists to produce accurate joinery.
• Check drawings for errors and raise amendments before work starts.
• Complete every section of the works orders for each joinery item.
• Operate joinery machinery safely and maintain a tidy workshop.
• Work in a team and support less experienced joiners where needed.
