Job Summary

The Behavioural/Health Psychologist will deliver health psychology services using methodologies and frameworks to clients.

The Behavioural/Health Psychologist will be accountable for the delivery of Psychology, Behavioural Science and Market Research Projects.

Lead Psychology and Research projects as a subject matter expert, with the support of a senior team member, both internally as well as externally:

  • Conduct independently desk research-based data immersion exercises, including:
    • Systematic literature reviews
    • Competitor and patient advocacy landscape analysis
    • Strategic audit and analysis of client materials
    • Social listening (using software such as Pulsar)
  • Lead on primary research activities involving various stakeholders (patients, clinicians) such as:
    • Creation of primary research materials (discussion guides, consent forms)
    • Management of recruitment activities and data collection (interview moderation)
    • Facilitation of focus groups and co-creation workshops
    • Analysis of data (qualitative and quantitative) using psychological frameworks
  • Prepare presentations and reports independently (using formats such as PowerPoint or Word) and present, defend key insights to clients
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external project calls
  • Provide ad-hoc pitch proposal support (desk research, insights gathering) and present insights in pitch presentations
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Skills
  • Strong research experience and understanding, with skills in quantitative and qualitative research and statistical data analysis
  • Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights aligned with strategic client needs
  • Understanding of research methods, health psychology/behavioural science models (e.g., COM-B Model, Common-Sense Model of Self-Regulation, Health Belief Model) and behaviour change techniques for implementation
Experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare agency or pharmaceutical industry
  • Research experience with statistical knowledge
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical clients
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis
  • Experience in a professional environment
  • Ability to convert research findings into actionable insights
Education/Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Health Psychology
  • BSc (Hons) in Psychology
  • MSc in Health Psychology
  • Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
  • HCPC accreditation
