Salary: £65,000 basic + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance

We are representing a respected and expanding freight forwarding and logistics company that is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the South East region. This is a key strategic role, ideal for a commercially driven professional with a proven track record in securing new business and developing client relationships in the freight sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across sea, air, and road freight services
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across various industries
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and quoting to closing and onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Meet and exceed agreed revenue and performance targets
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline using internal CRM systems

Requirements:

  • Strong background in freight forwarding sales (multimodal experience preferred)
  • An existing network of contacts and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Proven success in delivering and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
