Job Description:

Our client is a magic circle firm seeking a Senior BDM Manager to lead their Litigation, Arbitration, and Investigations (LAI) BDM team.

This role has the potential to become permanent post-contract and may be considered on a 4-day week basis for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Senior BD & Marketing Manager heading the LAI team, you will be supported by the team to guide partners and associates on BDM plans and initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the London team and supporting global LAI-focused BDM teams
  • Building a strong personal network and fostering collaboration across the firm
  • Planning and executing client targeting initiatives, ensuring LAI integration into the enterprise client program
  • Formulating strategies to enhance the firm's profile
  • Encouraging London associate participation in BD activities
  • Optimizing team efficiency using the firm's systems and processes
  • Collaborating with other teams (events, client communications, digital, pitch team) to manage deliverables
  • Leading BDM activities for International Arbitration
  • Supporting London-based functional priorities in collaboration with senior team members
About You

Candidates should have:

  • Confidence advising at partner level with senior manager experience
  • Proven team leadership and development skills
  • Proactivity in advancing work and ownership of deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Knowledge of disputes (preferable)
  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
