Job summary

Saxton Leigh is seeking a Business Continuity Manager for a leading international bank in the City. You will own, develop and maintain the BCM and Operational Resilience framework, ensuring regulatory alignment with FCA, PRA and Bank of England requirements.

You will lead BIA exercises, design bank-wide and department BC plans, coordinate with risk, IT and HR, and deliver reports to Senior Management while driving continuous improvement and third-party risk management.

Qualifications

• Senior role in a European financial services organisation with BCM responsibility.
• Experience in BCM, operational resilience and risk management principles.
• Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements on operational resilience and outsourcing.
• Ability to work 5 days a week in the office.
• Familiar with BIA, BCP development and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Own, implement, enhance and maintain BCM & OR framework in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with departments to conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
• Develop department and bank-wide Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Communicate recovery objectives to IT and align IT disaster recovery plans.
• Provide periodic reports to Senior Management on framework effectiveness.
• Design and deliver BCM & OR training and awareness sessions.
• Support Crisis Management Team during incidents.
• Drive continuous improvement across BCM & OR.
