Job summary

CB&I Asset Solutions is seeking a Barge Operator to perform daily marine operations on a fixed-term contract. You will report to the Barge Supervisor, manage vessel heading, ballast, and maintenance, and collaborate with crews and supporting vessels to deliver safe, efficient operations.

The role requires experience in marine operations, strong communication, and adherence to process safety and asset integrity standards in a challenging offshore environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of experience required.
• Dynamic positioning experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily marine operations as directed by the Barge Supervisor.
• Report to the Barge Supervisor and support safety and process safety initiatives.
• Maintain vessel position, heading and ballast/trim as required.
• Coordinate with shuttle tankers, support vessels and helicopters for in-field operations.
• Maintain records of on-board operations and ensure compliance with procedures.
