Senior Banking Partnerships Manager | Payments | Fintech

The Company:

Our client is a leading global payments and banking-as-a-service platform for the digital economy. Through its API-driven technology, businesses can embed financial services into their products and create seamless user experiences to drive growth.

Their platform consolidates services across markets, providing access to accounts, FX, payments, acquiring, and Open Banking via a single API, with licensing in the UK, Europe, Canada, and others, ensuring compliance globally.

The Role:

• Build and develop strategic payments infrastructure partnerships among banking and payments providers, aligned with the Group’s banking strategy.
• Manage the full cycle of partnership growth including strategy development, contract negotiation, and internal project management.
• Ensure strategic deal management based on KPIs and mutual interest alignment.
• Develop and nurture relationships with strategic partners, including senior management teams.
• Support the Head of Payments Infrastructure and the wider business in developing global banking and fintech relationships that add value.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 4+ years in developing partnerships within financial institutions and banks.
• Strong product knowledge and experience working across multiple business functions.
• Proven experience implementing industry-wide partnership networks.
• Experience negotiating complex deals with tier 1 banking and payments institutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and influence.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• A team-oriented mindset, capable of collaboration and compromise across teams.
